Anton Alvarez - The Remnants
Brookfield Properties welcomes Swedish-Chilean artist Anton Alvarez who has taken residency at 100 Bishopsgate, in our pop-up studio for the month of February 2022.
Alvarez has brought the ‘The Extruder’, a three-tonne ceramic self-built press with him from Sweden for his residency at 100 Bishopsgate.
Watch as he and his studio assistants, grind down hundreds of kilos of clay sculptures back into their original powdered form. This recycled raw material will feed the ‘The Extruder’ pressing new clay shapes and forms reincarnating the old to the new.
