Jitterbug by Ayo Akingbade is the rising London filmmaker's 13th short film and continues her exploration into the city's rapidly changing landscape. Shot on 16mm film, Akingbade tracks a cinematic rollercoaster ride of youthful hope, adult resignation and resilience as the 18-year old protagonist Afeni, her parents Precious and Julius, and her best friend Goldie deal with devastating news.
