An evening Q&A with Jack Hughes on Their Egos Will Lead Them To This Future exhibit, followed by wine and a meet & greet the artist.
This exhibition presents Jack Hughes work; depicting Bellerophon falling from Pegasus, as he attempted to fly to Mount Olympus to join the Gods. Bellerophon is a Greek legend centered around man's ego and sense of entitlement. Hughes’ painting showcases these ancient Greek figures, their attempts to take fate into their own hands and thus the punishments aligning with their arrogance.
