Castor presents a survey of Clyde Hopkins (1946 - 2018) work’s from the late 80’s to early 90’s. Bringing together a selection of large scale canvases and works on paper from an important period in Hopkins career.
Hopkins was a London based British abstractionist and co-founder of APT Studios in Deptford, London. Recently acquired by Tate, he has been the subject to numerous solo exhibitions including the Serpentine Gallery, London (1978 and 1986), Ikon, Birmingham and Rochdale Art Gallery (both 1985), Salisbury Art Centre (1988) amongst others
