For this exhibition, over 80 first-year postgraduate Art students from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London will share their work publicly for the first time. Bringing together MA Art and Science, MA Contemporary Photography; Practises and Philosophies, MA Fine Art and MA Fine Art Digital, This Is Not A Party presents an exciting diverse range of practises and perspectives.

“Clack clack clacky ty clack my teeth repetitively crash together tapping out a beat. I am standing in an old warehouse on the banks of the river Thames.

Clack clack clacky ty clack my teeth won't stop, the beat goes on. As I look across the river I see the landmarks of a new London, an urban landscape of thrusting architectural statements vying for your attention.

Clickity click click click my teeth dance out the rhythm in my mouth. I turn my attention back to the space I am standing in and notice that I am not alone. I look up and see a giant disco ball slowly rotating and if I listen carefully I can hear music. But this is not a party. ”
