Dr Kate McMillan [Academic & Artist, KCC] - The Lost Girl: Climate Change, Feminism, Creativity & Memory
McMillan will discuss the themes of the exhibition and invite discussion of her work.
The Lost Girl is a new immersive film-based installation at King’s College London. Created by artist and King’s academic Kate McMillan (Department of Culture, Media & Creative Industries), the project explores various research interests including climate change and the Anthropocene, the role of creativity in forming memory and the consequences of neglecting female histories.
