Encompassing sculpture, video and drawing, Flores’ work is concerned with affections and aversions within [digital] game spaces, simulated emotions and the emergence of a technological demodé culture.
The work navigates the chaotic, excessive nature of contemporary entertainment - analysing and labelling fictional principles that do not seem to die. Identifying and naming turns them into devices with which to establish new fictitious schemes. The artist usually employs the sculptural practice to work on those reworked specific scenarios.
