Exhibition Book - Edited by Simon Moretti & Goshka Macuga - The Enigma of the Hour: 100 Years of Psychoanalytic Thought [Collab between Outset Art Fund & Kate MacGarry]

Kate MacGarry and Outset Contemporary Art Fund celebrate the exhibition 'The Enigma of the Hour, 100 Years of Psychoanalytic Thought' with launch of an accompanying book.

The exhibition that ran at the Museum between 6 June - 4 August 2019.

'This book features a compendium of texts and artworks that serve to expand the exhibition themes of translation, transformation, temporality, dreams and the unconscious extending the exhibition into the space of the publication.

It Includes newly commissioned essays by critic and novelist Marina Warner, writer and professor of art writing at Goldsmiths Michael Newman, and psychoanalyst and art critic Adele Tutter, as well as extracts from a conversation between writer and editorial director of Frieze Magazine, Jennifer Higgie, Daniel Silver and Simon Moretti.'

The book is published by Koenig Books, designed by A Practice For Everyday Life and supported by Outset Contemporary Art Fund.
