Group Exhibition - By Beck Road 19 [Open House Event - taking in art produced across one street its 56 houses]]
This first of its kind exhibition celebrates the rich artistic and socially-focussed movement that has thrived for over 120 years in one of London’s most artistic (and often anarchistic) streets.
Featuring art made on Beck Road over the last 45 years, the exhibition celebrates the spirit of artist-run exhibitions and social action in the neighbourhood, running for two days, in and outdoors, throughout residential properties, studios and a variety of other unusual spaces.
With particular emphasis on the variety of contemporary artists working on the street today, By Beck Road 19 sees generations of artists working together to exhibit outside of the traditional institutions.
