James Vaulkhard curated by MC Llamas

Returning to form, Artist James Vaulkhard’s new solo exhibition ‘The world waxed green’ is an exhibition/showcase of recent works created during the pandemic spanning Singapore, Kenya and the UK during a trying time for not only himself but the entire world.

A departure from his internationally acclaimed works created for UNIT London gallery in 2017, 'The World waxed green’; is an honest and deep dive into the truth of what we all must ultimately face - the uncertainty of life, death and the journey of healing.

Much like Frank Bowling, Larry Poons and, Clyfford Still deconstruction of landscapes but retainment of colour palettes is something that inspires James' work.

This exhibition isn't only about Healing, paint, beauty through grief and coming to terms with life regardless of your doubts. In a post-pandemic climate, Vaulkhard believes these artworks will resonate with the viewers and aid in us collectively coming to terms with the past eighteen months and help us turn a corner into a brighter future.
