Artist Talk

Juliette Losq [Artist] & Selina Skipwith [Art Advisor & Curator] - In Conversation discussing Losq's career and practice

Losq's ink and watercolour installations explore how we interact with the natural world. Towards the fringes of any conurbation exists land that is in a state of flux. Developments come and go to be replaced or reoccupied by nature. Losq’s paintings seek to describe these ephemeral borderlands.

Internationally recognised, Losq's work can currently be found in the Drawing Room at the House of St Barnabas and is also in leading collections including the Saatchi Collection, All Visual Arts London Collection, Newnham College Cambridge Collection, and Newhall Women's Art Collection.

Selina Skipwith is an Independent Art Advisor and Curator. She was the former Director of Art of The Fleming Collection 1996-2014. In 2000 she oversaw the creation of The Fleming-Wyfold Art Foundation, and The Fleming Collection gallery in Mayfair, which opened to the public in January 2002.
