For his first solo exhibition in London, Shanghai-based artist Li Ran presents a selection of video works alongside new paintings and texts portraying the psychological state of a group of semi-fictional ‘humble intellectuals’ revolving around him in China.

Featuring a range of works including paintings, sketches, video scripts, poems and other text-based works, all of which resonate with one another, the exhibition explores the intricacies of human relationships and China’s historically complex and politically charged landscape.
