Following on from our screening of Here We Come A-Wassailing, OffBeat is hosting a night of film and music about London. We will be showing two great films - Sex in Soho (20mins) is a 1981 documentary which explores changing attitudes towards London’s famous red light district.

There will also be a showing We Was All One (50mins) made for Thames Television in 1972. It documents the changing way of life in London's East End as old streets are demolished and new blocks of flats put up. The film examines the loss of community spirit, and whether the changes are for the worse or better.
