Bringing together over 18 large-scale paintings, El Lahib’s solo exhibition sets itself in the nocturnal world where darkness reigns, the mysterious takes shape, and where the unconscious is at liberty to make itself heard. Lahib’s paintings oscillate between figuration and abstraction. These dreamscapes arise from simple sketches, occasionally from earlier pictures the artist could not absolve.
