"The Averard Hotel is a mythic location, a grand nineteenth century townhouse turned rock-and-roll hotel turned derelict investment vehicle, turned art gallery in 2016. The Averard is a raw and readymade exhibition site whose powerful liminal, alchemical and heterotopic qualities have transformed so many who have encountered this space.

My own experiences developing and nurturing the Averard Hotel have deeply informed my understanding of the relationship between art and life, love and friendship, lessons which nourish and propel the new gallery Foreign & Domestic in New York."
