Robin Hunt - OVIDS – Travels in Digital Romanticism
OVIDS are iPhone photographs capturing the play of natural light on transparent materials covering a window; the shadowy, abstract shapes that form momentarily on an ordinary linen blind or a curtain. They were born out of the pandemic, of the first COVID lockdown in the UK, when we lost for a while the freedom to be outside; to go anywhere. When we were fearful, trapped, and very unsure.
