Salvatore Arancio - Their Eyes Have No Lids

"Their Eyes Have No Lids" is the result of an extensive research project by Italian artist Salvatore Arancio on the relationship between the cloistered nuns of the Monastery of Our Lady of Health in the City of Pátzcuaro, Michoacán in Mexico and the achoques, sometimes referred to as Mexican salamanders.

Curated by Philip Serfaty and Alberto Ríos de la Rosa.
