SOL LDN present Kourtney Roy - Enter As Fiction
Kourtney Roy radically subverts the male gaze by using Cindy Sherman-esque, staged scenes that reference cinema, consumer culture, and Americana.
The artist states “I want to become a part of the worlds I photograph. It is a way to live multiple lives and be able to enact the stories inside my head. A sort of escapism into a fantasy world that is all my own”.
SOL LDN launched in 2022. It is a new type of art gallery and collaborative platform that aims to bring together acclaimed artists in a carefully tailored offering for the 21st century collector. Conceived for a new generation of collectors who value transparency, simplicity and openness as much as quality, SOL LDN will curate a rolling programme of unmissable collecting opportunities both on and offline.
