Jeong's first exhibition at Workplace, since joining the gallery earlier this year, continues the artist’s exploration of perceived reality and personal memory. Jeong's practice draws upon her personal experiences and she uses recurring imagery as a way to process these memories, of which vary from everyday mundane activities to tragedy and loss.

The works in the exhibition have been created during the summer months, and embody a deep reflection on past memories or, as she refers to them, ‘remains’ which have surfaced in her mind during this period. She describes these as ‘the things left in my head after the rest has evaporated away’.
