Soumya Sankar Bose - Red Turtle Photobook
Please join for a book launch and talk with the photographer and Vincent Hasselbach and Soumya Sankar Bose, is an Indian documentary photographer. In his practice he uses photography, video, archival material & text to explore desire, identity and memory.
His books 'Where the Birds Never Sing' & 'Let's sing an old song' were self published under the RED Turtle Photobook self publish initiative. 'Where the Birds never sing' was selected as PHmuseum’s Best Photobooks of 2020 and was Shortlisted for the Paris Photo - Aperture Foundation First Photobook Award and for the Lucie Photo Book prize 2021.
