The Artist Room Launch Ugo Schildge - Fleur d'Artifice
Curator Olympe Pamart presents a new body of work by painter-sculptor Ugo Schildge.
Schildge’s practice blurs the boundaries between painting and sculpture, made principally but not limited to wood strips, natural pigments and plaster to form a stained glass effect. He produces his work between China, France and the US, and this will be his first show in London.
The Artist Room is a newly launched space at The Columbia. Located in the hotel’s lounge bar, the space will provide a platform for artists to showcase their work outside of the traditional gallery. The Artist Room will complement The Columbia’s long-standing residency and exhibition programme.
