Paintings by Tim Patrick are rooted in observation of the everyday, working at a large scale both in situ and the studio. Focusing on painting directly from life; being led by looking and allowing the painting to develop through a conversation with the subject much of Tim’s work is made on site, with this relationship with place being important in their making.
