Tour Contemporary Art Galleries in Mayfair - with Chantal Condron

"Take a contemporary art gallery tour through London's Mayfair district with the London Art Salon's contemporary and modern art historian and curator Chantal Condron.

Meet at at the Cristea Roberts Gallery (43 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5JG) and visit a new exhibition of work by leading Black British artist, Barbara Walker, from her ongoing series of work called 'Vanishing Point' that explores the representation and invisibility of Black figures in historical Western European art,

Moving on to the David Zwirner Gallery, with an amazing opportunity to see the Tree of Knowledge by Hilma af Klint, one of the pioneering female artists of the early 20th century. The artist's geometric and organic compositions have been ‘rediscovered’ in recent years, repositioning her in the narrative of early abstract art in Europe.

To finish at the J D Malat Gallery taking in the exciting new paintings of Georgia Dymock in the first solo show by this young British graduate. Her work is inspired by range of sources, from Surrealism to Tamara de Lempicka.
