Xu Yang
During the afternoon, Xu Yang will be performing in the gallery space, animating her work in costume alongside her wonderful video work “The Birth of Self Discovery (After Botticelli)”.
Xu Yang’s performance work dissects the construction of identity through a contemporary female gaze, drawing on art history, fashion, fairytale, performance and queer theory.
