Yulia Bas - Fragments of Self
In Fragments of Self, her first UK solo show, Yulia Bas takes her paintings into new territory in an exploration and expression of today’s state of perpetual flux. Building on her established practice of depicting female characters through a blend of figuration and abstraction, she newly explores a more energetics-led process here, resulting in a style that’s rich in poetic mystery as well as pensive reflection on our current cultural state.
